What's On...
Here is your weekly update from the Glamorgan Heritage Coast Ministry Area.

As proper Brits, it would be almost unlawful not to begin by mentioning the weather, and at long last, THE SUNSHINE HAS ARRIVED! After what has felt like an extended season of grey skies and wellies, the brighter days and hints of spring are a welcome gift.
It is a gentle reminder too of Gods faithfulness in every season. Just as the earth begins to bloom again, were reminded of the new life and fresh hope we have. May this long awaited sunshine lift our spirits and turn our hearts in gratitude to the one who makes all things new.
World Day of Prayer 2026
The World Day of Prayer is an international ecumenical Christian laywomen's initiative. It is run under the motto "Informed Prayer and Prayerful Action" and is celebrated annually in over 170 countries on the first Friday in March.
This year’s World Day of Prayer will be celebrated at Bethel Chapel in Llantwit Major on Friday 6th March, beginning at 2.30pm. The material this year has been prepared by women’s group in Nigeria, and the theme is, “I will give you rest”, taken from chapter 11 of St Matthew’s Gospel. All are welcome

Samaritans Push Up Challenge
Tanya, Tom and Fr Edwin would like to say a very big ‘thank you’ to everyone who supported their sponsored push-up challenge to support the work of Samaritans. The challenge finished last Friday and the final 10 push-ups were completed live on Facebook:
https://www.facebook.com/stilltudschurch/videos/2275417889608330
The great news is that the 3 of them (The T-Team) have raised over £1,000, which will help to support the fabulous work that Samaritans do across the UK, supporting people in mental anguish. There is still time to make a donation, and this link will take you to The T-Team’s fundraising page:

2,000 people end their lives by suicide globally every day… and that was the reason for asking volunteers to do 2,000 push-ups. In the UK alone, statistically, 125 people take their own lives each week, which means one suicide on average every 90 minutes. Samaritans are committed to work to reduce that, and offer support and a listening ear that can be the difference between life and death:
