What's On...
Here is your weekly update from the Glamorgan Heritage Coast Ministry Area.
We have a lot going on in our Ministry Area at the moment. We are busy making real life long plans to secure our Churches futures. So please keep coming back here weekly to keep up with everything and be involved. Please get your diaries ready for the events below!
This week Father Edwin, Reverend Emma and Natasha got to visit The Afon Nedd Ministry Area to talk about how we can collaborate as Ministry Areas and also take inspiration on what they are doing. Thank you for the warm welcome Helen and Reverend Lynda. Please if you haven't already go and see their wonderful Churches. They are amazing.

A MASSIVE thank you to Julie Brown for putting on this wonderful coach trip to Hay On Wye. It was a total sell out, everyone had an amazing time and it raised £240 for St Illtuds Church!!! Julie all of your work you are doing to help our Churches isn't going unnoticed and we are VERY grateful.

EARLY VOICES FESTIVAL 2026
Songs and Stories
25 April & 6–10 May 2026
Early Voices 2026 invites you to experience a vibrant celebration of music and
storytelling from across cultures and centuries. Under the theme ‘Songs and
Stories’, this year’s festival explores how music has always been a powerful
way of sharing tales, myths, and memories, spanning medieval European,
Finnish, and Indian repertoires.
Set mainly in the beautiful medieval church of St Illtud’s in Llantwit Major,
with events also taking place in Cowbridge, the festival brings together
internationally acclaimed performers, exciting emerging ensembles, and new
artistic collaborations.
Alongside concerts, a programme of outreach and family events aims to inspire
listeners of all ages, welcoming new audiences into the world of Early Music.
Early Voices Festival is supported by Arts Council of Wales, Ty Cerdd,
Colwinston Trust, Llantwit Major Town Council, and Susan and Michael
Doolan. The concert on the 8 th of May is supported by Continuo Foundation.
The family event on 9 May is free of charge. Concert prices range from £13-17,
and U16 tickets are free. There is a festival pass for all five concerts for £65,
